FAQ
How is this website different from a traditional zine distro?
Most zine distros are run by one or two people who collect zines under a certain theme. They then resell these zines at fests or online. I Love Zines does not do that, but is more similar to sites like Etsy or Ebay. When you place a single order through our site, you are actually ordering from a wide variety of people. The zines are not housed in one area, but instead remain in the hands and homes of individual zinesters. When there is an order, the zine's author then mails it directly to the buyer.
How can I list my zines on I Love Zines?
We are adding new items every week, and want to continue that trend. Anyone who wants to list zines with us must fulfill the following requirements:
- You must be based in the United States.
- You must be able to mail out any order within one week of receiving it.
- You must have a good stock of each item you wish to list. We recommend at least 50 copies on hand, or the ability to produce 50 copies within a week's time.
Do you ship outside the United States?
Currently we only ship to and from locations within the United States. The past year saw so many changes in international shipping rates that calculating accurate and affordable rates just wasn't feasible. If you live in another country and you really really REALLY want some of these zines, then feel free to contact the authors individually and see if they are able to work it out.
How are shipping costs calculated?
Shipping costs are calculated based on the total dollar amount of the order. For example, any order up to $10 will pay $3 shipping. That means that if you buy a $2 zine, you'll pay $5. If you buy a $9 zine, you'll pay $12. At times, that means the total price might benefit the customer, at times it might benefit the seller. We retain a portion of this to pay for the upkeep of the site, the rest goes to the seller.

Any other questions?
Please email with any comments, questions, or concerns. This entire website is run by just one person (Billy!) and I am always open to suggestions. Thank you!
