Four Year Depression
Four Year Depression
Billy McCall
Four-Year Depression takes place just after the 2016 U.S. election. Accepting Trump as president was not easy, and it's not an exaggeration to say that I had an underlying sense of depression every day since he took office. And those feelings of depression and anger became much more confusing after I found out that members of my family voted for him.
Four-Year Depression is about how much I hate Trump, but it's also about how much I love my family. It's about trying not to let politics ruin family dinners. It's about how lucky I am to have such an awesome family. It's about how completely divided our country is, and it's about trying to find ways to talk with people you don't agree with.
Written in the summer of 2019 and edited through the fall, it was released in early 2020. It is 8.5" X 5.5", and 96 pages long. It originally sold for $10, but I have since knocked the price down to $6. Markell West did my editing and Frank Okay did my cover.
