“Waltzing Carpet Juliette” is a four-issue mini-series written by Mark Ostler and illustrated by 32 different artists.
The story follows our heroine, Juliette Blanchard, as she spirals into addiction. Her poison? Luxury Carpets. Juliette is a shopping addict, who roams the back alleys of consumer culture looking for her fix. “Waltzing Carpet Juliette” is a satire that reflects how commodity acquisition can replace human emotion.
The artwork is created by a daydream cast of current artists. Some artists of note include: Ben Snakepit, Roberta Gregory, Ricky Vigil, Jimmy Flame, Bonus Saves, narboo!, Two Thangs, Jonny Heartbreaker, Goddess Kring, Zaponator and many more.
